The “Sacred Dancers of Angkor” Last Farewell to Preah Rattanakkot part1

I would like to share with you the Buong Suong that I organised for the Sacred Dancers of Angkor to dedicate piously to Late Preah Karuna, Preah Borom Rattankkot at the Banteay Srei Pagoda with the Villagers, Me Khums, Me Phums with the lead of the Chevai Srok. All were very moved and glad to have been able to pay a last respect to the Relics of their late Samdech Euv, Samdech Ta and Samdech Ta Tout but also to see our cultural legacy revived in all its essence with respect and deference.

I heard that when King Sisowath toward the end of his life was sick, he sent 30 of his Royal Dancers to conduct a Buong Suong at a Pagoda in Battambang.

In India and Indonesia temple Dancers pray for their Gods through the language of dance gestures.
